HI
I am in the process of configuring amanda to use a sunstorage L280 i have
the option to set it as a stacker, random and autodetect which its set
at.
when i run amtape it only reads 4 of the 8 tapes. and sometimes it doesn't
even read the labels. I am useing chg-multi.conf and this is what i
normally get. is there a better config i should be useing
slot 1: not an amanda tape
slot 2: slot is empty
slot 3: not an amanda tape
slot 4: slot is empty
slot 5: date X label YANG7301
slot 6: slot is empty
slot 7: slot is empty
slot 8: slot is empty
[root@odin]: amtape YANG show
amtape: scanning all 8 slots in tape-changer rack:
slot 8: date X label YANG201
slot 1: slot is empty
slot 2: date X label YANG101
slot 3: slot is empty
slot 4: date X label YANG301
slot 5: slot is empty
