Hello everyone,

Ok, here's the deal. I think that I've finally corrected pretty
much everything. However, on the last run of amcheck it says that one
host is down. The localhost. Which originally I had it in the disklist
file as this:

localhost /dev/wd0a always-full
I changed it to:
bsd1 /dev/wd0a always-full

Thinking that for some strange reason AMANDA didn't like the reference
to localhost. (Which, seemed a little absurd to me at the time, but it
was a thought. I then reran amcheck, and got the same results. So,
it's time to ask the masters. What's wrong? What do I need to change
to keep this from happening, below is the full contents of the last
amcheck run.

Amanda Tape Server Host Check
-----------------------------
/holdingtank: 8182314 KB disk space available, that's plenty.
WARNING: skipping tape test because amdump or amflush seem to be
running;
WARNING: if they are not, you must run amcleanup.
Server check took 0.001 seconds.

Amanda Backup Client Hosts Check
--------------------------------
WARNING: bsd1: selfcheck request timed out. Host down?
Client check: 1 host checked in 30.025 seconds, 1 problem found.
