It might help if you posted the exact error messages you're seeing as
well as the chg-zd-mtx configuration file you're using. Someone might
be able to see the problem quickly.
If you have set havereader to 1, I know of one bug. Unless you've already
got it set up properly, you should empty out the $changerfile-barcode
file (e.g. cp /dev/null ...). You can tell if it's bad if it currently
contains just "0".
