Hi There,
i have been using amanda for some time now without incident, though I
noticed in the last couple of runs, I have been getting "data timeout"
errors on a couple of my file systems. These backups are running on the
Amanda Server itself (all local FSs). I did not see anything similar in
the FOM, so I am posting here to ideas.
System Configs:
Dual PPro 200MHz system
RedHat 7.1
Amanda 2.4.2p2
kernel 2.4.3-SMP
192MB RAM
SCSI disks only
Adaptec 2940 U/W controller
Archive Python 4/8 GB DAT
I don't believe it's a hardware issue, however, I am upgrading this
machine this evening, and any hardware issues should get flushed out in
this process.
