Attached is the Amanda report from the backup that I just completed, which
should have been a Full Backup forced by a dumpcycle of 0 and runspercycle
of 1. I'll go fight the amandad busy and dumper died messages later, but why
am I getting all the "dump to tape failed" which pair up with the "No idle
dumpers" messages in the Notes section. Increasing or decreasing the number
in inparallel (2-8) makes no difference. Is this an indication that I have
filled up one tape and it is trying to tell me to change tapes. Since I have
a tape changer and runtapes is set to 10, won't it do that itself? If not,
how do I make it run the second half of the run? Running amdump repeatedly
just gets me the same thing backed up each time.
Help?!
