Sorry for bothering you, but this time is even worst: another tape is
stuck in. The provider tryed to reboot, but it failed even to eject the
tape drive. After the reboot the kernel does not detect the tape drive at
all, I mean there is no /dev/nst0 now:
[root@server /root]# mt -f /dev/nst0 rewind
/dev/nst0: No such device
Also nothing in dmesg (RedHat 6.2). The provider told me that the tape
drive is on.
Could you please advise me what the hell to do now? Please notice that
I'm locate din another country that the server, but still could be usefull
to know what to tell the provider to do.
