What is the exact error message in the amanda mail? Also, what are your dumpcycle, runspercycle, and tapecycle values? > Also, I'd like to amflush, but it is expecting the next tape in the cycle. > Is there any way to change what tape amanda is expecting to dump to so I can > flush onto the backup tape from last night? > No. Amanda doesn't append, so you'd be overwriting the backups from last night that *did* make it to tape. Amanda tries very hard not to let you do this. -- Joshua Baker-LePain Department of Biomedical Engineering Duke University
