Essentially, I'm doing a full backup of the entire system every night. I
have specified dumpcycle 0 on the entire disklist. To re-use the tape, I
amrmtape the tape from the cycle so it thinks it's a new tape. I tried
running the backup again, and it is dying on /tmp, claiming that it's out of
tape. To recap, the whole system is about 15-17 GB or so, and the tape is an
SDLT 100GB tape, so I should be nowhere near the end of it. I'm also using
gnutar. It bothers me that it's only dumping about 200 MB when it dies. The
problem started with the first dump of the week on Tuesday morning, tape
full5. I ran an amflush, and it claimed to be happy. Now it seems to be a
recurring theme that is repeatable, but I'm not sure what is causing it. I'm
trying to erase the tape now so it is a piece of blank media, then do the
backup and see what happens. Below this amanda report is the amanda report
for tape full5, which ran Tuesday morning. full6 ran Wednesday morning.
Oh, I just noticed on the report that it claims to be dumping on Level 1,
as opposed to Level 0. Maybe this is the problem? The disklist is telling it
to dump on level 0, why is it trying to do level 1?
