Hi! I'm having a similar problem, sometimes. However, it used to be much worse. There was a two week span where one partition wouldn't back up. I was able to get rid of most of the time out errors by using the 'spindle' entry in the disklist to tell Amanda what partitions it couldn't dump at the same time... HTH, Ricky
