Sorry, Don't mean to be spreading rumours.  The reason I put that in my 
email was because I had a vague memory of searching lists and finding a 
mailing that explained amanda had a size limit.  I thought it best to 
put it in there in case the limit was a reality.
        Searching for that same post, however, has proven empty.  It may have 
even been the Linux ext2 file system (2Gb file size) limit that put that 
idea in my mind.  Like I posted, my clients aren't more than 24Gb, so 
I've never had reason to test it.
        Looking closely, I have no evidence for that 24Gb limit.  Not that I 
won't be extra careful when my computer reaches that limit, but I have 
no desire to put my unfounded neuroses on someone else.
