I think you're confusing amrestore and amrecover. amrestore just looks through the tape headers to find the dump image you specify (or not) on the command line. You don't give amrestore a CONFIG, so it has no idea what's where. amrecover, on the other hand, does know what tape it needs. -- Joshua Baker-LePain Department of Biomedical Engineering Duke University
