As Jean-Louis said, even amrecover does not use the changer -- "yet". It certainly seems as if it could, but several times I used amrecover the desired tapes were not in the loaded magazine (I rotate 4) and would have not been found anyway. It would have wasted time for me to have the changer cycle through looking for it. Another time, 2 or 3 tapes were needed and were in different magazines. I actually like the current behavior where it tells me I will need tape x, y, and z. Then I load them into an empty magazine and go from there. Each to their own needs :) -- Jon H.
