I found on the machine that I'm setting up, a VXA-1 drive with 10 disk changer, that I have to use /dev/nst0 to do the writing to the tape, /dev/sg2 to eject, and /dev/sg3 for the changer. It was the freakiest thing. I had to modify the chg-zd-mtx script (hardcoding in the /dev/sg2) to make it change tapes properly. Am I the only person who has come across this? - -- Blue skies...
