What does that tell me:
"fatal changer error: slot <error>: Changer is already in use at
/usr/local/libexec/amanda/chg-glue line 104"
amcheck fails, even after manually loading a tape with mtx:
ama...@juno:~> mtx -f /dev/sg1 load 3
ama...@juno:~> amcheck -s eag
Amanda Tape Server Host Check

fatal changer error: slot <error>: Changer is already in use at
/usr/local/libexec/amanda/chg-glue line 104
(expecting tape EAG153 or a new tape)
Server check took 3.027 seconds
(brought to you by Amanda 2.6.1)
-- But "mtx status" works so far:
ama...@juno:~> mtx -f /dev/sg1 status

I also checked for any old amanda-processes, none found, so I don't know
why the changer should be in use ....
