Upgraded to 2.6.1p1, this removed that changer-error-msg. I still see i/o-errors (didn't mention in first mail) when writing (amlabel, tar ...) so I contacted the vendor of the library. Strange as we replaced the whole library maybe 2 months ago due to a robot-problem. And now the drive, maybe ... *sigh* Stefan
