You sure you are on Ubuntu *11*.04? Not 12.04? What is the output of
"lsb_release -a"?


On my bog-standard Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty) installation, I have:

This is perl, v5.10.1 (*) built for x86_64-linux-gnu-thread-multi
(with 53 registered patches, see perl -V for more detail)

and:

charles@yendi:~$ locate libDebug.so
/usr/lib/amanda/perl/auto/Amanda/Debug/libDebug.so
