I am using the packaged distribution from the amanada site and maybe I'm
the only person with this problem, hence the lack of response, but am
getting quite desparate to find a solution as backups are not working.
amanda site do not have packaged distribution, where do you take it?
This amanda is compiled for perl 5.10.1, but you said you are using perl
5.12.4
Which amanda are you running? check the path in xinetd.
Verify you do not have multiple copy of amanda installed.
Search the web for 'undefined symbol: Perl_Gthr_key_ptr'
