It uses SpamAssassin to test for spam, and has it's own blacklist/whitelist settings that can be used instead of or in conjunction with spamassassin's. > Ok, it's done :-) > But if I have to use whitelist_to, what is the interest to use spam_lovers? > So I can delete files spam_lovers, blacklist_sender, whitelist_sender > from amavis, and use only whitelist_to, whitelist_from and > blacklist_from of local.cf? > Thanks :-) > Bye spam_lovers insures spam is delivered to listed *recipients* regardless of spam score. It is not for senders. If you want to whitelist mail sent from [email protected] then you would place that address in your whitelist_sender table (or) in local.cf you could set: whitelist_from [email protected] Placing the address in your whitelist_sender table means mail from that address will be delivered regardless of spam score (but still could be blocked if it contains a virus or banned content etc.). Using whitelist_from in local.cf means the score will get lowered by 100 points for mail that is sent from the listed address. whitelist_to as suggested will lower the spam score by 100 point for mail that YOU send to the listed address. This would only be of use if outbound mail passes through amavisd-new, and you are sending spam. Gary V ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
