Fellow <ambit> subscribers,

Just a quick reminder (as not many people seemed to be discussing it except
in terms of the privacy issue) that November's suggested discussion topic
was: networks, social & electronic. Particularly for those who were at the
conference being organised by CCA (or wanted to be but couldn't), perhaps
it's pertinent to continue this topic in December and enquire: what role do
networks play in our practice, as artists, curators, researchers,
organisers? Are there intrinsic differences between the social networks
which we engage with, person to person, on a daily basis, and electronic
networks? If there are differences, what are they and how do they influence
our interactions with others? Are electronic networks a positive or
negative influence on practice?

Comments welcome.

Also, there are still quite a few subscribers who have yet to introduce
themselves - don't be shy, say hello!

Regards

Chris Byrne
