Sounds like Scotland to me! e.g. Eilean Donan to name but one castle and
generally an invented historical culture.

Any info on rural spacesyntax? I notice from the spacesyntaxlab that
everyone is preoccupied with urban space. We are particularly interested in
this as we are involved in an emotional/geographical mapping project right
now.
