We could, of course, just keep a list of our own gadgets around. Some other
containers have a different solution for this, such as
- not show all the hundreds of possible gadgets at once, but use pagination, or
- rely on asynchronous loading by drawing the panel, and loading the contents
using some ajax call.
At any rate, the current solution of just caching what we have is not the best
suited one, and I think it should be removed from the service impl.
