I'm also using Linux (SUSE 10.1) with the latest versions of AB and AQ without any problems. However, it wasn't always so. Initially I had problems with AQ not importing. After months of frustration, I noticed that the working directory of the desktop icon for both AB and AQ was incorrect. In other words, AQ was downloading correctly but putting the info in the wrong place. Since fixing, both AB and AQ have been working like a charm.
So, to eliminate that possibility, run both AB and AQ from their respective directories rather than from the Desktop. Hope that helps.
