Angelo:

I don't know what version of Tradestation and EasyLanguage Ed and Roberto are using and so my question simply refers to the fact that the program version has to be compatible with the software version.  Tradestation 4 can handle ELA files, 2000i can handle ELA and ELS, and 6.xx and higher handle ELS and ELD.  ELD (EasyLanguageDocument file) is not backward compatible with ELS (EasyLanguageStorage file) because of differences in format, key words, and functions.  6.xx and higher automatically modify ELS code during import but going the other way from ELD to ELS has to be done manually.  User functions are another matter and may, as Ed suggests, be part of the problem with importing Roberto's code.  There is much discussion about matching program and software versions on the Tradestation websites.
