You assume that all PowerEditors can verify any EasyLanguage code.  It is not that "simple."  EasyLanguage and the corresponding PowerEditor have evolved through the years and one cannot assume that simply putting any code into any PowerEditor will produce the same verification results.  It very much depends on the version of PowerEditor used which in turn depends on the Tradestation version with which it came.  Can it be any other way?  The PowerEditor's verification process ensures that the words, grammar, and spelling used in the code are correct.  How is it possible, for example, that PowerEditor 2000i which can handle ELA and ELS can also be programmed to handle ELD with its different format, functions, and key words before ELD was developed?  It can't.  Getting back to AB, can AB 1 verify syntax for code written with AB 4 that uses the key words and functions (format is not an issue) developed for AB 4?  Not that I'm aware of.  Fini.
