I guess it's a marketing decision for a business whether or not to license the Footprint name and therefore gain the leverage and recognition that comes with that? Considering you have to code your own footprint charts anyway, I can't see any other reason you'd pay them royalties for doing nothing.
It just seemed odd to me, considering the lucrative monthly rates Market Delta charge, that there were no other products competing in that space. Hence why I thought they must have some IP claim on the charts.
