I think the problem is not if colors are cool or not.
The prob is people asking for features amirc really doesn't need, cos
there's no point in it.
If you really want each line to be colored just write you'r own plugin and
put on aminet so those who want it can get it.
afaik amirc has AMIPLUG_Query_Hook_NumericMsg2 (not sure if it's the correct
one thought)
which enables you to modify entered text on the fly.
