Over priced??? beauty is in the eyes of the beholder... When I was a novice I got a Collins 32V1 for less than $100... It looks quite new even today... I wouldn't sell it for 1 million dollars period... but if I was to buy another one, because of my very limited budget, it couldn't be for more than $100...
If my memory serves me right the Collins ART-13 military rig cost the tax payers $10,000 each... I also have one of those... paid $10 for it... a very nice rig... worth the ten bucks... would I sell it??? NO! Would I buy another... NO... I don't have the ten bucks... period... My friends 'gold' is just dirt that someone 'thinks' is valuable... nothing more... it is worth what you are willing to pay... I have no use for gold therefore it is worth nothing to me... If you are blessed with a big wallet then fine, buy what you may but don't think for one moment that what you paid is what an item is really worth... 73 Vince ka1iic
