In my stack of stuff, I have a complete and in good condition transmitter labeled:
Transmitter VHF-50-Watt Made for FAA Type TV-36 Contract FA64WA-5251 SN 518 Made by Collins Radio. I know it runs a single 4CX250 in the final. Other than that, I know little about it. Anyone have further information, such as the modulator tubes? I was told, years ago, that it was an easy conversion to the 2M band. 73, Barrie, W7ALW
