Greg, the fuse is still in production. Go to your local electrical supply store and if they do not have it they can order it for you. It is called a HVB-1. Be aware it is not a cheap fuse so buy an extra and hope you never use it. Good luck!

I have a couple of questions for the group: Is there a substitute for the HV fuse in the 2 kvdc line? Is the original still being manufactured? I'm going to use solid state plug in diodes instead of the 866A's. Do I need to disconnect the filament supply to the 866A sockets?
