I don't know how far along the bird is as far as construction. The way I read it was that with Tonys passing and the appointment of new team leadership, it gives additional time to check and double check. I seriously doubt that a satellite would be sent for integration and launch in a questionable state. So while we have to wait longer, it's worth the wait. And I hope they decide to hold out for the flight that will take us to the longest lived orbit.
I'll stand by for the "you're and idiot" commentary. 73, John AG9D Sent from my iPad > On May 11, 2014, at 7:48 PM, "Ted" <[email protected]> wrote: > > All, don't take the bait on this... > > He is just trolling for an opportunity to bash AMSAT.. > > ....just an unhappy, bitter man....still > > 73, K7TRK > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On > Behalf Of Clint Bradford > Sent: Sunday, May 11, 2014 11:47 AM > To: Rolf Krogstad > Cc: AMSAT BoD; AMSAT BB > Subject: [amsat-bb] Re: FOX News > > THANK YOU for your reply. > > But the fact that we have two entirely different, valid interpretations of > the same paragraph means - to me - that it needed to be more clearly > explained. > Clint Bradford, K6LCS > 909-241-7666 > > On May 11, 2014, at 10:48 AM, Rolf Krogstad <[email protected]> wrote: > > Clint K7LCS, > > I suspect you are reading too much into the statement, or applying an > unintended interpretation to what was said/written. > > In any hardware or software deployment, ham radio or otherwise, there can > never be enough testing.
