I think we should copy MSN messenger's GUI.. don't forget our first and
primary catch phrase.. "amsn, with msn's messenger look and feel" and it
was in order for our users to use amsn and feel like they were still using
msn messenger... a real clone... now msn messenger improved a lot, but
amsn kept his msn 4.0 look and feel as Alberto said.
Okay, I sort of agree here and sort of don't. I don't want to copy msn's gui completely, we can do better than that. We should be aiming for"amsn, with msns look and feel, but better!"

I just thought of a good way to  explain what I meant by that sentence ^^^. We want people who've just switched from windows to be able to recognise how to sue it because it's similar to msn, but we also want linux newbies and dumbass teenagers to be able to use it AND we want power users not to get anoyed by a really inefficient (sometimes horribly cluttered, sometimes far to bare and space-wasting) interface.
