I have talked with Youness about something similar even long before the 0.97 release. But he never agreed with that. His best motivation to disagree: even if we fix all bugs in 0.97, it is still not the ultimate aMSN. There is still a lot missing (Youness just mentioned some examples in his mail, but there is much more). So, I now agree not to have 1.0 at all.
