Hi,
1 - Sending a personal message to one of the developers is NOT how you ask a
question. There is an IRC channel and there are forums for that kind of
questions.
2 - Alvaro, the mailing list is for development related issues, so next time,
redirect the user to the forums since that kind of questions are
prohibited in the developer's mailing list.
3 - That decision was made long ago and it stirred a few questions and was
discussed a lot. The decision is kept there, for security reasons, the
default profile should not save any plugin's config, pop3 password, choices of
plugins, etc.. someone could even write up a 'password saver' plugin
and load it in the default profile so anyone who uses his PC will get their
passwords stolen.. and considering the amount of people using aMSN in
public internet cafes, we can't allow that.
4 - Yes, the display picture is kept between sessions of a default profile,
it's a known issue, and it's in the TODO. If you don't save your account,
the display picture should be forgotten.

For any other questions, please go to http://amsn-project.net/forums and search
there for your question before asking.
