I answered him, I see no problem. I even suggested a small patch to
save the plugins.xml file, commenting out. I might have not answered
at all, it depends on the mud :)

I think he's free for mailing a developer, if the developer address is
public. The developer is free to point him to the right place, just
ignore him, blame him, or set fire to his car, depending on his/her
particular sense of humor.

I've received many personal messages, and I haven't forwarded them to
the mailing list. I was forwarding the mail because it wasn't clear
for me why the plugins were not saved. Now it's clear. I don't think
this question was out of scope. If you thought it wasn't worth the
explanation, then there was no need for an answer. Being picky,
amsn-devel description is "Mailing list for developers and everyone
helping AMSN" so being a developer you can mail jokes or talk about
the weather ;)

Anyways, I'll be more stricter next time.

Thanks, then the bug is saving some options for default profile, not
forgetting the settings. It's clear now.
