I answered him, I see no problem. I even suggested a small patch to save the plugins.xml file, commenting out. I might have not answered at all, it depends on the mud :) I think he's free for mailing a developer, if the developer address is public. The developer is free to point him to the right place, just ignore him, blame him, or set fire to his car, depending on his/her particular sense of humor. > 2 - Alvaro, the mailing list is for development related issues, so next time, > redirect the user to the forums since that kind of questions are > prohibited in the developer's mailing list. I've received many personal messages, and I haven't forwarded them to the mailing list. I was forwarding the mail because it wasn't clear for me why the plugins were not saved. Now it's clear. I don't think this question was out of scope. If you thought it wasn't worth the explanation, then there was no need for an answer. Being picky, amsn-devel description is "Mailing list for developers and everyone helping AMSN" so being a developer you can mail jokes or talk about the weather ;) Anyways, I'll be more stricter next time. > 3 - That decision was made long ago and it stirred a few questions and was > discussed a lot.
