I've been trying to focus on "pages" instead of "requests" as the best
indicator of usage. I'd like it to represent "clicks" as closely as
possible. I've set PAGEINCLUDE to the important file extensions (e.g.,
.htm, .html, .pdf, etc.) and have said "LINKINCLUDE pages".

It looks to me that calls to cgi programs (like the search engine --
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]?CQ_...") aren't included as pages in the
total page count. they do show up as requests in the request list however.
Since in our case they represent "clicks" I'd like to get them added in to
total pages. Is there a way? should I change "PAGEINCLUDE".

And related, I see a surge in the "Distinct files requested" since a new
search engine was installed. Is each of the cgi requests considered a
unique file? (e.g., each search on a differnt term).

Thanks.

        Dave
