Hi folks;

Analog 3.11
BSD O/S 3.1
Apache (name based hosting)
Combined Log Format

After reading the FAQ's and the mail list archives I managed to solve most
of my problems except the following...

I have several "sub_hosts" that each generate their own log files, and I
have created individual "config" files for each.

In my "analog.cfg" file I am using the following to call in the respective
config file;

CONFIGFILE /usr/local/etc/httpd/analog3.11/forager.cfg

The first four lines in "forager.cfg" are below;

LOGFILE /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/v_hosts/forager/logs/forager_access_log
OUTFILE
/usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/v_hosts/forager/htdocs/analog3.11/stats.html
HOSTNAME forager.com
HOSTURL http://www.forager.com/

Yet when I run Analog from the command line I get the following error;

"Fatal error: failed to open output file
   /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/v_hosts/forager/htdocs/analog3.11/stats.html
for writing: exiting"

If I change the file path above to;

OUTFILE /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/analog3.11/stats.html

It works just fine :-/

Why can I not have it write to what is really a "sub-directory" of my domain?

I have tried playing with the file perms...but that does not make seem to
make any difference to Analog.

I can see from the archives...I'm not the only one that has tripped up on
this...but I also could not find a fix.

- thanks for any and all help -
