Yes, that's what's normally given in the Host Report. But you can use the
Referrer Report to see who's linking to them.
Something like this should work:
FILEINCLUDE *.jpg
REFEXCLUDE http://www.readio.com/*
REFEXCLUDE ""
REFERRER ON
That will only count requests for JPEGs, and not if they've been linked from
your site or if you don't know where they've been linked from. The last line
just asks for the Referrer Report to see the results.
Of course, I'm assuming that your logfile contains the referrer data. If
not, you'll have to speak to your service provider (or use the search engine
method recommended by the previous poster).
You also asked about running it on your host's Unix machine. This will only
be possible if you have a login or telnet account on your host's machine. If
you can only FTP to it, that's not good enough.
