I did it!  (Robin dances around the room!!!)  After having to resort to
SuperStats on other web sites due to my technological incompetence, I'm so
delighted that I've now figured out the basics for setting up this Analog
system.  :))  Thanks, Aengus, for your comments and Stephen too--especially
for your program and whoever else helped create it!

It'll take me awhile longer to get adjusted to the language of the report
(like interpretting the terms used in the General Summary versus the "hits"
and "unique visitors" language that I was used to) and the ins & outs of
running reports to gather weekly and cumulative information.  But, I suppose
I can find all that info on the help pages.  I just wanted to thank you for
my exuberant feeling tonight before logging off for the night--in simply
getting the config file set up and using DOS to run it so simply.  So, now
at least, I know what the program can do, and it looks like just enough to
match what I needed.
