Except that you are inundated with information that you don't want and have to search
through the report (which in five-minute intervals, unless you are searching on a daily
basis, is a lot of lines) for the peak point. The whole point of Analog is to analyse 
the
data and produce reports of useful information, so you don't have to parse it by hand. 
So
finding spots of peak activity would be better handled by Analog. For example, a 
PEAKTIME
report could through some algorithm (I know this is very hard for web traffic) or a 
FLOOR
setting decided what a 'peak' item is and only list those.

I guess I'd really have to see the data. Probably, you're right -- a five-minute 
summary,
even across a large sample, would produce a very noisy signal. And cleaning that up 
would
result in essentially the hourly summary, just curved.
