Some days ago there was a short discussion whether there exists a
list of robots which could be used to exlude them from the reports.

While I'm currently developping a simple technique to identify
all/most robots that visit my sites, I found that there is a quite
comprehensive (?) list available at

http://info.webcrawler.com/mak/projects/robots/active.html

unfortunately there isn't sth. like a simple line-by-line list of
user agents, but it has a computer readable file available.

Stephen,
maybe that's some stuff for your "volunteer" to work on?!

Frank
