The error message seems fairly clear to me, Analog failed to open the log
file. Does the file
"/usr/netscape/server4/https-sonyhk/logs/access.01Nov-1200AM" actualy
exist? Do you have permission to read it? The problem might maybe have
something to do with the file being over 2 Gig, although I doubt it. It
can't possibly have anything to do with any of the LOWMEM commands, or
any other configuration command except the one that specifies the log
file name. Analog never read the file at all, so it never had a chance to
run out of memory.

Try a simple command line command to see if you have permission to access
that file:

wc /usr/netscape/server4/https-sonyhk/logs/access.01Nov-1200AM

If that works then something unusual is happening, but I'll bet that that
fails also. If it fails, your problem has nothing to do with Analog.

Good Luck
Jason

Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For
example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed
as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system.
