Does that pattern match files in subdirectories as well?
If so, then that might be the easiest approach for our needs - thanks.
It wouldn't take account of any changes to the definition of 'a page'
(i.e. PAGE{IN,EX}CLUDE) of course, so they'd need to be tracked separately.
But that's a relatively uncommon requirement, so wouldn't be too arduous.
I'd still like to investigate possibilities for using the built-in
page definitions, but this will at least take some of the pressure off.
