I've been watching the chatter going on regarding resolution of IP
addresse ranges where the ISP doesn't have the decency to give any
indication of his provision of service. We have a situation down in
this part of the world where one major ISP subcontracts provision of
service to two competing suppliers. As such, the lines get muddled as
to who has the IP range of the week/month. All it takes is a friendly
complaint to the next higher in the tree and these companies start
doing what is right. Besides, would you want to deal with an ISP that
doesn't take responsibility for its customer's activities?
