Then I suggest that you're not in a position to advise anyone on how DNS
should be handled with Analog.

In other words, you're in exactly the same boat as thousands of other
people using Analog.

So what if it's 11MB? How big were your 2 weeks worth of logs? You've made
a mountain out of this molehill!

Analog is aimed at Stephen Turner. He wrote it, and he's more than happy
to share it with whoever else feels it meets their needs.

There's already a program out there that automatically looks up these
addresses from ARIN and RIPE, and makes the information available to
Analog without changing a single line of Analog code. The size of the DNS
cache file is simply an irrelevancy - in a couple of years reading this
list, I don't recall anyone encountering problems that could be attributed
solely to a karge DNS cache file.
