Thank you for your answer, but I think I haven't stated my problem well.

The problem is that the Cache engine keeps a Log of its own transactions
like the server does. Every transaction served by the Cache engine is
reported as HIT and everything else as MISS in its Log. The missed requests
are passed to the server, which Logs the transaction with the Cache Engine's
IP as a refferer.
So a request can be logged at the Cache engine as Missed and also
logged at the Server's Logfile.
If I analyse the Server's Log, I miss the refferers (since it sees the
IP of the Cache engine in up to 90% of the requests), and also the requests
served by the Cache engine.
My thought was to count the HITs of the Cache engine (where I have a
clear image of the number of transactions and the refferer info), and then
analyse the Server's Log excluding all the lines reffering to the Cache
engine.
Do you think that this would give me good results?

Thank you again,
Andreas.
