Thanks for your help. I thought I was downloading a precompiled version
since it was broken out by OS on the site. I compiled and I am running. I
just need to learn how to setup the configuration file.

I don't understand what this /usr/local/bin/virtual bit is. You should just
need to run /usr/local/analog-5.01/analog.
I also don't know why it's looking for libgd. It doesn't need that unless
you've specifically requested when you compiled it that you want to use your
own copy of GD not the one built into the program. Did you compile it
yourself, or are you trying to use someone else's copy?
