You can have a cumulative cache file. You just have to be careful that you aren't using that and new log information or that you are not doubling up the data. It is tricky, but can be done properly. If you are not sure that it's been done right, you might want to check your traffic and make sure you aren't doubling every day.
If you delete the cache file, then Analog will most likely not have any data for the report.
