For the sake of clarity, it's important to note that Analog's reports are based on the information in your log files. For that reason, it would probably help to know what type of server you are running (e.g., Apache, MS IIS, etc.) and which operating system your server uses. I use Apache on Solaris and symbolic links (ln -s) work as expected. The interesting thing in your situation is the status 302. You might already know that this tells a browser (which might be a search engine) that a page has moved permanently. Without more information, it's difficult to say what's happening, but I wouldn't expect a symbolic link to produce a status 302.

I have recently made a change to my website where most of the content is now hidden behind a symlink. The last few analog reports have not reported request statistics for these pages which is shocking because even the homepage is behind the symlink. In the webserver access logs the logs are writing the requested URL with the symlink but the report doesn't seem to notice them as successful requests. I have noticed that the number of status 302's has tripled. Does anyone have any suggestions or advice as to how I can get my symlinked homepage (and others) to register as successful requests?
