Hi, thanks for the responses.
What LOGFILE do you specify to Analog ?

I am only including the 2005 log files.
How does your webserver rotate your logs ?

They are daily log files, one from each of the 6 load balanced web servers. So for this year it's opening 10 months * 30 days * 6 servers = roughly 1,800 log files, all gzipped.
You definitely need HOSTLOWMEM 3. You'll lose the Host Report, but I guess that's not a big deal. In fact, if you only want the time reports, set them all to 3.

I was going to ask this in the first email. I read that about level 3 but I'm not sure I fully understand it. I don’t physically have a host report section in the output file, but I assume if I put HOSTLOWMEM 3 will I lose the "Distinct hosts served" line in the general summary? This is one of the important metrics the yearly report is for. If so, I assume I can leave HOSTLOWMEM 2 & FILELOWMEM 2 but increase BROWLOWMEM, REFLOWMEM, USERLOWMEM & VHOSTLOWMEM to 3 ? which will improve memory usage? I don’t have any browser, referrer, user, etc, info in the output at all. Are these all the *LOWMEM settings ? BTW, Stephen, what a fantastic product ! I’m a big Analog fan, been using it for donkeys years. Thanks for your effort over the years. Kind regards, Jon.
