Done that before. Even without changing the header it made the geoview of ancestris ancestris find most of the communities. But it degraded the map on http://www.genealogieonline.nl/ Adding the header line had effect on the edit view, but not on the preference panel, nor on the web-site. > > > Most important: add coordinates to the GedCom (like > > GensDataPro does) and the site will use them > > Yeap, but if we do that, we are no longer compliant with the > gedcom specifications. > You don't have a gedcom tag for that. > I just cited http://www.stamboomforum.nl/servicedesk/2/10826/0 Which is the helpdesk for: http://www.genealogieonline.nl/ Somewhere I think I saw mentioning version 5.5.1. which does have these tags > But, we can add "personal tags" like those: I'm afraid genealogieonline.nl won't recognise them, so that isn't of any help. > But doing that is a development. we have to add such function to an export plugin. > > Help wanted :-) You started the discusion for a special export for genealogieonline.nl/ See http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00014.html I'm only the messenger of what does and what does not work for that site. Personaly I don't care much about their map so I'm not motivated.
